With these job opportunities, known in Germany as 1-Euro jobs, the legislator has created a useful instrument to reintegrate recipients of ALG II (s.o.). The main intention of this measure is to improve the individual’s situation and to encourage the person to secure a successful professional future. The focus is always the personal qualification and the professional deployment. The leader of this project is the administrative district of Kusel, which offers the participants various practical opportunities in landscaping, forestry, carpeting, tourism and in the social sector. The participants also have the possibility to visit advanced qualifying measures. Employees of IKOKU assume the social assistance and consulting. After individual profiling interviews, the participants can address contact persons during the whole length of the measure. Those contact persons also assist in solving personal problems, which can be obstacles to an employment. The intention of this constant coaching and support is to integrate participants into the first job market.
